The Youth account is designed for youths 18 and under. A parent or guardian must be a joint account owner and is responsible for the account. They also must be a member.
What are the benefits of the Youth Account?
This account helps young members learn money management with a debit card, checking, and savings, while parents can provide oversight and manage allowances.
What is the minimum deposit required to open an account?
- Checking: $25
- Savings: $5
Does this account come with a debit card?
Yes! A debit card is available for the child, some restrictions may apply.
Can the Youth Account earn interest??
Yes savings account only, it encourages young savers to build healthy financial habits.
Are e-statements required?
Yes, e-statements are required due to regulatory guidelines.
Can I set up automatic transfers to this account?

What happens if there is no activity on the account?
At least one transaction per year is required to keep the account from going dormant.
